This lovely little ensuite, sitting alongside the ethereal loft bedroom, followed the same brief…. A weightless, bright, crisp, space that had to work hard due to its modest floor space and architectural constraints. Using such tricks as having a bespoke mirror designed to fit within the sloped ceiling, choosing a wall hung toilet so that more floor can be seen, sinking the shower tray so that the floor tiles can flow straight over the top uninterrupted, using bright white tiles from floor to ceiling to draw the eye upwards and filling the space with bright light all helped achieve its weightless quality.
Accents of brass from the antique taps, to the shower fixtures, and the trim of the wall mirror all act as delicate shinning jewels on top of a tranquil back drop of white.
