The starting point for this space was to plan in two sinks and two showers…. The best route to a happy marriage in our opinion!
When choosing furniture, the aim was to avoid standardised bland storage fittings, so we went about sourcing a beautiful sideboard that could be adapted to hold 2 surface mounted basins.
The gorgeous circular, charcoal patterned concrete basins sit on top of a marble surfaced walnut console with brass handles and legs. Antique brass taps are wall mounted onto gloss green splash back tiles trimmed in brass and the bespoke mirror above was designed to line up exactly with the edges of the sideboard.
The space is flooded with light when the ceiling spots are on however, for a softer more atmospheric light, three geometric black and brass pendants hang in front of the oversized mirror and 4 little spots light up the alcove in the shower space. Brass elements are scattered throughout the room from the floating heated towel rail, to the planter which reflects the optical illusion geometric floor tiles that flow straight over the surface of the shower tray for an uninterrupted visually impactful effect.
Key to this space is its rich opulent atmosphere that helps to set the home owners off on a positive start to their day after their morning routines.
